Just a small nugget of information I thought I'd share... I passed my final coaching assessment on Sunday and am now a fully licensed/insured coach... not something I intend to do full time, but another string to my bow and something to add to the CV. Happy Days!

Evesham Vale 10km Race Report Added
It's been a while, but I managed to regather my thoughts and memories of the event - about time I got the race reports section back up to date. With a bit of luck I'll have my 'training blog' live on the site soon which generally gets updated daily (or every few days at least).

New "Product Reviews" Section added.
Well I've added a new section to the site. I intend to start adding reviews of various bits of kit, but working with the good people at Fitness Footwear I hope to be able to add reviews of some of the latest and greatest trainers and footwear. Just one review to start off, but I plan to keep adding to it in the near future.

Finally got around to adding some Photo's. So far I've added Photo's for the Wedgnock 'Hills & Spills' Winter Series 2009/10 Races 1, 2 & 3 as well as the Castle Combe 'Chilly' 10k. Fingers crossed I'll get chance to write a couple more reports and put more photo's live tomorrow.

Website Revamp & Full Update
Well I decided the homepage was starting to look a little dated, and was quite narrow, which meant that where I'd written longer race reports the page seemed to be incredibly tall. I decided I'd do a bit of a 'freshen up' and also bring all the race reports up to date. There's loads of reports added since my last update, so grab a coffee, have a read, and let me know your thoughts!

Website Re-Launched!
Since the original launch of the site in June 2007, my thoughts on the site and what purpose it has have changed somewhat. Originally I wanted it to be a place where people could learn a little about me, and find out about where I was at with my running, biking, and my career... I also wanted prospective employers to view the site and be able to see examples of work I have done, and to view my Curriculum Vitae.

In theory it was all fine and dandy - after all I'd never intended the site to be hugely popular! But alas as time has gone on, my CV hasn't been updated and my job has meant signing a confidentiality agreement - obviously meaning I can't update the site with details of work I've completed. That has basically seen the death of the 'Work' section of the site. The 'play' section has always really been a 'running' section accompanied by a note to say 'I also enjoy mountain biking'. Well I never got around to uploading any of my biking photos & videos, and now I don't really do much (if any) biking at all.

With that in mind, the site has been re-launched... retaining some of it's original content, but is now more a resource for people to learn my life story in a nutshell and how my running's going (in terms of racing, training and my kit). In the not too distant future I hope to launch another site that’s a running information resource, jam packed full of tips and advice for runners of all abilities.
